Socket RFID Reader-Scan CF Compact Flash Card 6M (RF5402-544) (SOCKET RFID)
Now add high frequency RFID capabilities to your mobile data collection application with Socket’s CompactFlash RFID Reader Card.
Please note: a 20 Pack version for bulk orders is available.
Both bar code labels and RFID tags are being used or deployed for many vertical applications, and both technologies will co-exist in the market for some time to come. Now add both bar code scanning and high frequency RFID read/write capabilities to your Pocket PC-based mobile data collection application with Socket’s CompactFlash RFID Reader-Scan Card. This unique dual-function product scans all common linear bar codes and reads and writes to all ISO 15693 and many proprietary 13.56Mhz RFID tags.
Like all Socket’s bar code scanning products, the CF RFID Reader-Scan Card is supported by SocketScan keyboard wedge software which sends either the decoded barcode data or the RFID tag ID to any Windows application as virtual keystrokes – No custom programming needed! A small additional application allows reading and writing to the accessible tag memory blocks. An SDK is available for developers who wish to embed control of the barcode scanning and RFID read/write functionality into their applications.
Mobility Friendly
As with all of our products, Socket designed the Mobility Friendly CF RFID Reader-Scan Card to use minimal power. Drawing only 11mA (36mW) in idle mode, the CF RFID Reader will operate for hours without having to recharge the batteries in your Pocket PC.
